Our History:
The Children's Christian Center opened in Sept. of 1957. It began in a little house behind the West End Church. The original teachers were Marjorie Litton, Frances Brazzell, and Anne Elizabeth Lokey.

The Children’s Christian Center, is a developmental program for ages
two through five. We have a full day and part day program that is
available for two to five days a week.
We celebrated our Fiftieth Anniversary in 2007.

We are the recipient of the Three-Star Assessment Rating given by the State of Tennessee. This annual rating evaluates the areas of Director Qualifications, Teacher’s Education and Professional Development, Compliance History, Parent Involvement, Student Ratio and Group Size, Staff Benefits, and On-site Program Assessment.
Our program has received the highest rating in all seven areas.

Our goal is to help children to learn through play in a
spiritual environment.
