Facilities
West End offers a beautiful and elegant sanctuary, perfect for a wedding celebration. The sanctuary seats over 800 people, includes padded pews, and a center aisle perfect for the procession of a bride. West End also provides a beautiful bridal room for the preparation of the bridal party, located close to the back of the sanctuary for easy access to the ceremony. A room is also provided for the groomsman to prepare themselves and is located far away from the bridal room.
Reception
West End also provides facilities for your reception if you so choose. Our Community Room will provide space for 300 people comfortability and has a small stage that can be used to elevate the wedding cake or wedding party. Our Parlor, which is located adjacent to the Community Room, can be used to serve the food and drinks to increase the space in the Community Room for all your guest.
Sound System
West End provides for you a Sound Technician, at no extra cost, who will ensure that the sounds of the ceremony are of the highest quality. Our sound system can offer you a lapel microphone for the officiant and five hand held wireless microphones to be used by performers (reading scripture, leading a prayer, or singing). West End's sound system is compatible with CD and IPOD formats if you choose to use recorded music in your ceremony. If you do choose to use recorded music during your ceremony be aware that you are responsible to give to the Sound Technician the CD(s) or IPOD you wish to use along with a playlist of which songs you would like to be played at what time during the ceremony.
Music
You are invited to use talented musicians in your West End wedding ceremony. Be aware that no more than six instruments can perform during the ceremony without prior permission. Also be aware that West End has no organ or piano on the property. Keyboards are encouraged, however, make sure to contact the Sound Technician to ensure the keyboard used for the ceremony is compatible with West End's sound system.
